Economy and immigration remain top issues for swing state voters

Adobe is working on a generative AI video model for its Firefly family. This new tool will bring fresh features to its Premiere Pro video editing platform. These tools will let users generate video and add or remove objects using text prompts, much like Photoshop’s Generative Fill feature.

These new features come from third-party integrations with Runway, Pika Labs, and OpenAI’s Sora models. Adobe has not set a release date for these tools, but they will roll out “this year.” In an early video demo, Adobe showed what its own video model can do now. Yet, the third-party AI integrations are still in an “early exploration” stage.

The goal is to give Premiere Pro users more choices. For example, they can use Pika to extend shots or Sora or Runway AI to create B-roll for their projects. Adobe also says that its Content Credentials labels can mark these generated clips to show which AI models were used.

This news signals a big shift in video editing. It shows how AI can help creators by making tasks faster and easier. These tools could change how editors work and open up new ways to tell stories through video.
